Neurodiversity Affirming ADHD Evaluation Program

This on-demand continuing education program focuses on developing a personalized ADHD assessment and diagnosis process. We will explore diagnostic rules and limitations in your geographic area, determine ideal tools to utilize in assessment, and dedicate time to writing and fine-tuning your process with an aim at being efficient while maintaining thoroughness and depth.

This continuing education program is designed to provide mental health professionals with advanced insights and skills to enhance their assessment, diagnostic and clinical evaluation of ADHD. The program integrates a foundational knowledge of neurodiversity with current clinical research on common co-occuring & differential diagnosis.

Participants will learn how to administer a comprehensive diagnostic interview and multiple ADHD symptom & executive functioning measures. Clinicians will gain experience compiling information, making differential diagnosis and writing a professional and clinical evaluation report that is within their scope of practice. 

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

• Summarize the history of the neurodiversity movement and explain the benefits of providing neurodiversity affirming services to neurodivergent clients.
• Identify and utilize current evidence-based and neurodiversity-affirming ADHD assessment tools and additional screeners to provide accurate differential diagnosis; Identify situations when referring a client to an outside professional (such as psychologist for a neuropsych evaluation) is indicated.
• Develop an ADHD evaluation process that best suites each participant’s professional setting, licensure, and location; Offer ADHD evaluation within their scope of practice and code of ethics.

The System

We’ll partner together for 3 months. You’ll progress through the NeuroAbundant Evaluation Learning Pathway – 20-45 minute videos which are both deep and digestible. You’ll hit milestones through the program and receive necessary feedback at all decision making points and system building you do. 

You’ll create a personalized ADHD Evaluation process and begin implementing it with clients or as a standalone service within the first 6 weeks of the course (faster is also possible!). But we all know integrating a new offer into your workflow takes time. Our goal by the end of our 3 months together is that you have an ADHD Evaluation process in place that is enjoyable, functional and repeatable. 

The Support

You, Molly & a group of incredible peers will meet every month live on Zoom. In these implementation sessions you can get our help on anything you’re working on. I’ll offer feedback on your overall process/flow, interview skills and evaluation writing. I’ll assist you to troubleshoot challenges and explore complex cases and deepen your differential diagnostic skills. You’ll get my full attention and support as you build your knowledge and offering.

I know everyone learns differently and at different paces. I also know that neurodivergent clinicians often need accountability to accomplish big goals. Our monthly meetings will not only offer significant interactive support, but will help you make progress and connect whenever you get stuck. Come to one call or come to all of them! It’s totally up to you. And NEW in 2026, I’m offering 30-minute indivudal support sessions to help you get the feedback you need and get your evaluation process up and running!

The Community

During our 3 month learning collaboration, you’ll be a part of the Private NeuroAbundant Evaluation Community on Facebook surrounded by neurodiversity affirming clinicians, all building out their ADHD Evaluation Process and sharing their struggles and successes. This is often where the real magic happens. 

The Continuing Education

CE’s are offered for the ON-DEMAND portion of the course. Learn at your own pace and on YOUR schedule! What this means is that in order to qualify for Continuing Education Hours for NBCC, you need to watch all of the video content and read all the written content. Attendance at group calls is not required for CE Credit. After completing all of the modules, you will be given a quiz and a survey. The quiz is “Open Book” and can be taken as many times as is necessary to get a passing score. Once completing the quiz and the survey, you will receive your certificate of completion! This certificate is worth 11.5 NBCC CEs. 

LCSWs, LMFTs, APRNs can often utilize NBCC Continuing Education Hours – check with your board to be sure!
